Tata Motors launch new Indica V2 Xeta for Rs 2.29 lakh
Indian automaker Tata Motors is going offensive against Maruti Suzuki, as they have launched a new Indica V2 Xeta variant with a 1.2-liter engine.
The company is currently offering this car at a discount of Rs. 25000. This means that the car is available for Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Tata Motors is making available four variants in this model named GV, GVE, GVS and GVG. A market source said: “Four of the five existing Indica V2 Xeta variants — the GV, GVE, GVS and GVG — have been replaced with a smaller heart. The GLX model still continues with the 1.4 liter engine as a top of the line option.”
The company added that this new smaller engine provides better fuel efficiency. With Maruti selling their 800 model at just around the same price, it would be interesting to see how many units Tata manages to sell in the coming days.
