Berggi to offer email service for low-end mobile phones
Berggi Inc. is a start-up founded by a group of successful European entrepreneurs and they are now working on launching e-mail, instant messaging and other communications services for low-end mobile phones.
Generally, mobile users have to go in for a high-end mobile solution like the Blackberry product to get access to these kinds of services while on the move.
Berggi is now planning to offer messaging services for basic mobile phones, which continues to dominate the markets including the United States.
The company said in a statement that their solution would enable users to send and receive e-mail on their phones from Internet services such as Yahoo, Microsoft or Google. They would also support the popular instant messaging solutions. However, support for attachments is not included at the moment.
Babur Ozden, the head of Berggi Inc. said in a statement on their plans: “Our uniqueness is that we are the only application that runs on mid- to lower-end phones.”
