Bajaj Auto to enter China with an assembly unit
Bajaj Auto is not only catching up with the domestic market leaders Hero Honda, but they are also expanding fast in the other markets worldwide.
The company has already setup assembly units in Indonesia and Nigeria and they are now targeting another market with huge potential, china.
However, unlike their existing units in Indonesia and Nigeria, the plant in China will also cater to the export market. This is because the manufacturing costs in China are very low and this would help the company cut costs on production of their products.
Bajaj is however worried about the absence of effective copyright protection system in the country. We have already heard news about a replicated Pulsar model in this country named GULSAR.
