Break.com is one of the many video sharing websites trying to take on YouTube.com. The company has now announced their decision to double the money on offer for video directors uploading their videos to the service.
Break.com has said that they would be paying $400 for videos. They started their service by offering $50 per video and raised the price to $250 before Sunday’s new hike.
The money on offer is even more lucrative for animated moviemakers. Break.com is offering the producers up to $2,000 for these videos.
Break.com Chief Executive Officer Keith Richman said in a statement that these cash incentives have boosted the awareness of their services amongst young video makers. He said: “We are excited for the new year, because we are going to get better videos. People are just now starting to realize what works on the medium.”
