AOL managing to attract advertisers at an impressive pace
Time Warner CEO Richard Parsons has said that they are happy with the performance of their AOL division.
He claimed that the company is attracting advertisers at an impressive pace and they are performing way better than many analysts had expected from them.
AOL recently announced their decision to shift their focus from being an ISP to become a provider of online services backed by online advertisement. They have launched several free applications and services in the last couple of weeks aiming to attract more visitors to their websites.
Parsons said: “We have a huge audience and a real ability to monetize, I think better than the market had anticipated. We’re seeing very positive results on the advertising side of the business.”
