T-Mobile has been the only service provider in the United States till now to offer the recently launched Blackberry Pearl device.
Now, Cingular has announced their plans to offer Blackberry Pearl. This device is capable of managing up to 10 e-mail accounts and notify users when e-mail arrives.
It also has a lot of options for text messaging users and features an onboard keyboard. Other usual features are contacts, calendars, a memo pad, and tasks. It comes loaded with a web browser application letting the user surf the internet wirelessly.
Cingular customers would be able to access the net using Cingular’s EDGE service. In some select areas, HSDPA mobile broadband service is also available. Cingular spokesperson John Kampfe spoke on this product launch: “This is another one of those devices that really fits into the crossover category, because it’s the first BlackBerry that has a camera and entertainment capabilities.”
