Dhanus Technologies secures a Vehicle Tracking Service license from DoT India
Dhanus Technologies is a global telecommunications company based in Gurgaon and they have now secured a license from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for its Vehicle Tracking Service named FleeTrac.
They are the first company in India to secure such a license. Dhanus said in a statement that their service FleeTrac is an advanced asset tracking service for remote monitoring and tracking of vehicles.
The company claims that their product would help increase fleet productivity, reduce fleet costs and provide voice and data communication with the vehicle drivers anywhere in the country. And they are also providing this facility in regional languages.
The service works using the GPS technology and would provide reports on trip logs, route maps and usage alerts. It is capable of providing the location of a vehicle within a radius of about 10 meters.
