Tata Consultancy Services to enter Morocco

Tata Consultancy Services is the largest software company in India and they are now going to establish a unit in Morocco. The company has signed an agreement with Morocco to set up a 500-employee unit.

This unit would help generate over 25,000 IT jobs in the Arab nation.

This unit would start working in Casablanca and would be an off shoring delivery centre for the French and Spanish speaking parts of Europe. It is expected to start operating by next month.

TCS vice president and head for Global Government Industry Group Tanmay Chakrabarty said that they aim to expand the worker base at this unit to 1000 workers in the next couple of years.

They are also going to setup a training programme for the trainers creating an additional 100 jobs in the region.
