Passado.com to expand into Britain, Russia and Italy
Passado is one of the most popular social networking portals in Europe. The company has said that they are now planning to expand their operations by expanding into Britain, Russia and Italy.
The company has raised around 10 million Euros for this expansion.
This social networking portal was launched around 4 years back and it initially targeted school graduates allowing them to stay in touch with each other.
It has now expanded that to include former work colleagues and childhood friends.
DFJ ePlanet Ventures is one of the many companies investing in this project. DFJ managing director Dennis Atkinson spoke on this project: “We believe there is huge opportunity for growth within the social networking sphere for sites like Passado which are aimed at a more mature audience in a space which has traditionally been occupied by the youth market.”
