Google acquires European Internet mapping company Endoxon

Search engine giant Google has acquired European Internet mapping company Endoxon.

This acquisition is now expected to help them improve their Google Maps and Google Earth services for the European region.

Endoxon provides Internet mapping solutions, mobile services, data processing, cartography and direct marketing products.

Google has further said that they would continue to service Endoxon’s current customers or make arrangements to meet the company’s needs. However, they would now stop selling their products and services to new customers.

Google spokesperson Megan Quinn spoke on this acquisition: “We’re very excited about the company’s innovative mapping technology and the high quality of its engineers.”
