Google Blogger update now support privacy features
Google has released yet another version of their popular blogging service Blogger. This update had been in beta testing since quite some time and users were free to use this enhanced system. Now, this system is open to everyone.
One of the major updates in this new release is addition of privacy features. Bloggers can now limit their blogs to a particular audience.
Blogger earlier provided a similar service as a paid option. Now, it is available for free. They are now working on gradually converting existing Blogger users to this latest version.
Private Blogging has become pretty relevant in current scenario as more and more corporate bodies are using search engines to monitor the activities of their employees. This gives bloggers the freedom to limit their thoughts to a particular group of people.
This new updated blogger also enables the bloggers to attach tags to their posts. This is a much awaited feature as Blogger did not provide any such feature as categories for the posts.
