Verizon Communications opening stores in malls to attract customers

US based telecom company Verizon is following in the footsteps of Apple Computer by opening their own stores in malls to attract customers to their products and services.

The company has opened stores in shopping malls to show off their offerings to consumers.

These stores are called Verizon Experience and it provide a chance to consumers to check out their stuff, play computer games, lounge in front of high-definition TV sets and see how they’re all enhanced by FiOS service provided by Verizon.

Verizon Wireless spokesman John Johnson spoke on this initiative: “This is a place where you can touch and feel and see it all, and it’s all under one roof.”

The company however plans to continue with their other marketing and retail strategies.

Verizon recently opened its 5,000-square-feet Fairfax store inside Fair Oaks Mall as part of this initiative.
