France to put UFO archive online
The French space agency has said that they are soon going to put online their archive of UFO sightings and other phenomena.
However, they would not be releasing details on individuals and groups who sighted them to protect their privacy.
Jacques Arnould, an official at the National Space Studies Center (CNES) said that they would make available as many as 1,600 incidents on the net.
This archive should be available online by January or February.
He said in a statement: “Often they are made to the Gendarmerie, which provides an official witness statement … and some come from airline pilots.”
The agency said they have in store around 6,000 reports, many relating to the same incident. Most of these have been filed by 6,000 reports, many relating to the same incident
