Bajaj Auto to launch Bajaj Kristal DTS-I scooter

Bajaj Auto continues to perform outstandingly in the domestic market. The company has posted a 26 per cent growth in bike sales in December.

Bajaj also gained from their exports as they sold as many as 1.87 lakh units in December 2006 compared to sales of 1.48 lakh units in December 2005.

Overall, the company sold 1,87,179 two wheelers last month.

Bajaj added that they would be re-entering the scooter market with a totally refreshed product named Bajaj Kristal DTS-i.

The company added in a statement: “Three-wheeler and export sales continue to exceed expectation and this trend appears likely to be maintained in the next quarter as well.”

Bajaj also gained in the sales of their three-wheeler products. They sold 27,749 units as against 18,534 units in the same period the previous year.
