Apple did launch the iPhone at MacWorld
iPod maker Apple Computer has finally done what the market had been expecting to do since years now. The company has finally showcased a mobile phone product.
The phone features a touch screen and it includes features from their iPod range of digital music players.
Steve Jobs did confirm that they would be calling this product the iPhone. The Apple iPhone is a widescreen version of the company’s video iPod and feature a touch screen and Internet connectivity.
This phone product has a black face and a silvered colored back design. It features a 3.5 inch screen which covers most of the front end of the phone.
Impressively, the display works both vertically and horizontally. Market analysts believe that the company now has a potential to increase their revenues by around a billion dollars and get a chunk of the mobile phone market currently dominated by Nokia and Motorola.
