Sansa View: SanDisk launches a digital music player with a larger screen

SanDisk Corp. has launched their first digital music player featuring a large screen. This would be their latest challenger to the Apple’s iPod range of digital media players.

Apple incidentally has also just launched the iPhone with a full size display screen capable of playing both audio and videos.

SanDisk says that their latest device named Sansa View will hold 33 video hours or 2,000 songs. It comes loaded with 8 gigabytes of flash memory.

It also comes with a flash memory expansion slot enabling the consumer to expand the capacity at will. The device would retail for around USD 300 in the market.
