Sony device accepts music from mobile phones to play on stereo systems

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB has launched a new wireless adapter for stereo systems to make them capable of receiving music from Bluetooth enabled mobile phones.

Mobile phones capable of storing digital music have become very popular and this would enable the users to listen to the songs stored on their phones through their stereo systems.

Company representative said on this product: “Say, you’re going to a party and for some reason they don’t have music. You bring this. You plug it into the back of their stereo. … It’s really quick and easy and you just then control the music that is playing.”

Users would be able to control the functions using their mobile phones itself. The company would sell this device in the United States for $79 and it should be available by March.
