Advanced Micro Devices launches notebook version of their “AMD Live!”
AMD is the second major maker of PC microprocessors in the market and the company has now launched the mobile version of their “AMD Live!” branded desktop PC design.
In addition, AMD also unveiled designs for a home cinema system and a home media server. These products are based around their 64-bit Turion and Athlon processors.
AMD’s media center solution is designed to provide access to digital media outside the home. This notebook PC design uses AMD’s Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile processor and can manage content or schedule TV program recordings remotely.
Their home cinema system is based on the AMD’s Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor and it provide theater-quality media experience with high-definition (HD) video. It comes loaded with an integrated 100 watts per channel surround-sound audio, and Internet capability.
