MySpace.com goes French
Internet’s most popular social networking service MySpace.com has launched their French language portal targeting the people in the European nation.
With this, the company is on its way to get a broader presence in the region by launching site editions in localized language.
The French version of the MySpace.com has been undergoing beta testing since months now. This market is fairly critical for the company where they would compete with rivals such as Skyblog.
Market reports claim that Skyblog had around 7 times the viewership compared with MySpace.com in this market.
MySpace.com has already launched a UK based portal and is also working on a Chinese language front. A MySpace spokesman said in a statement: “In terms of international expansion there will be a lot of activity in Europe this year.”
