Paramount to offer only old films on Apple iTunes for now
One of the many announcements from Apple in the recent days has been the inclusion of movies from the Paramount catalogue on their Apple iTunes store.
Apple further said that the iTunes store has now sold more than 2 billion songs worldwide and it is now the fourth largest music retailer in the United States.
However, there is a little disappointment in this news related to addition of Paramount films on Apple iTunes.
The company has indicated that it will not provide its latest releases, only its older films on the digital media store powered by Apple technology.
These movies would retail for USD 9.99 on the iTunes store.
Apple added that they have sold more than 1.3 million downloads of Disney movies since October. The launch of Apple TV has also led to rumors that the company might soon launch high definition versions of movies on their store.
