Motorola working with Yahoo! to bring internet to mobile phones
World’s second largest mobile phone company Motorola has said that they are working with Yahoo! to “put the Internet in your pocket”.
Yahoo Connected Life vice president Marco Boerries joined Motorola president Ed Zander on the stage when he unveiled the mobile telephones featuring advanced internet features.
The two companies said that the users can download the beta version of the Yahoo Go 2.0 software on their handsets which are compatible with the suite.
Yahoo! expects that the market should have as many as 400 different models which would support their mobile based services.
The search engine company recently launched their oneSearch service which is optimized for the mobile platform. Motorola would soon make available phones in the market with Yahoo! services preinstalled.
