Satya Raghavan to head consumer marketing for MSN India
Microsoft has announced that they are appointing Satya Raghavan as their head of marketing for the MSN India division.
The company further said that Raghavan will now be responsible for marketing Microsoft’s online products in the Indian market.
MSN India has products and services like the MSN Search Engine and Windows Live platform for the Indian consumers.
Raghavan was earlier working as the marketing VP at Star India. He was responsible there for overseeing sales and marketing efforts at six Star-owned television stations.
Microsoft seriously needs to work hard on promoting their services in the Indian market. There are no confirmed statistics but Google sure is a major player in the search engine market in India.
