NTT DoCoMo launches thin 3G phones in Japan
NTT DoCoMo has launched some new mobile phones in their home market of Japan. These new phones include two devices which together claim to be the thinnest 3G clamshell phones in the world.
The company also launched a new phone from Sony which impressively carries their Bravia TV brand name.
The two thin 3G phones are the NEC’s N903iµ and Matsushita Communication Industrial’s P903iµ. Both of these phones are just 11.4 millimeters thick.
NTT DoCoMo said that the thickness of these phones beats all other WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) handsets on the market.
Unfortunately, these phones would not be currently available outside the Japanese market.
The N903iµ mobile phone features a 2.3-inch display. The P903iµ’s screen is slightly smaller at 2.2 inches.
