Tata Motors launches Indigo XL for Rs 6.7 lakh
Indian automaker Tata Motors has launched their newest car Indigo XL in the market. This model is essentially a longwheel model of their regular Indigo car.
Tata Motors claim that this car is the first ‘stretch limousine’ of its kind in the country. It has a wheelbase of 2,650 mm which is 200 mm more than the regular version.
Customers have options of choosing from two different 1.4 liter engines. Longer wheelbase means that the car has more internal space and legroom.
The car also features 6-way powered front seats with lumbar support and a separate rear air conditioner with independent controls.
Tata further said that the car comes loaded with European leather seats and a DVD based 4-speaker integrated entertainment system with headrest-mounted twin LCD screens.
The diesel version of the car would sell for 7.35 lakh while the petrol version would retail for 6.7 lakh.
Ratan Tata, chairman Tata Motors spoke on this car’s launch: “The Indigo XL creates its own niche. There’s actually no car that competes with the Indigo XL in terms of interior space, features and benefits that it offers except in the premium segment.”
Excellent value for money deal we would say!
