Skype introduces domestic calling plans for 24 countries

VoIP industry giants Skype has announced their new domestic calling plans for 24 countries. The prices of these plans are not confirmed yet but they are likely to be set at less than 5 Euros.

These new packages for these countries are being introduced after the company introduced a North American service offering unlimited calls within the United States and Canada with no connection or per-minute fees for about $30 per year.

Skype Pro is a bit different as it enables the consumer to pay a charge on a monthly basis similar to their other telephone packages.

The new Skype Pro plans also will include free voice mail. In addition consumers would also get a discounted price on a SkypeIn number which they can use for receiving calls on their Skype connection.

Skype is launching these new packages for Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. A special package for Hong Kong is also planned.
