United Talent Agency working with Veoh to search for talent online

Hollywood talent firm United Talent Agency (UTA) has said that they would work with Internet video service Veoh to look for talented people on the net.

The UTA is going to create a channel on service where they would be seeking new artists. They would also be highlighting their own clients at this network.

Veoh has found support from big media companies including Walt Disney and Time Warner. They would now create this channel to invite users to submit unsolicited material.

UTA has some big names on their client list including actor Harrison Ford and comedian Ben Stiller. They are not alone trying to find talent through these online services. Creative Artists Agency (CAA) formed a similar deal with online video service Revver last year.

Brent Weinstein, UTA’s head of digital media spoke about this new development: “We have received thousands of submissions since UTAO was announced. This partnership with Veoh enables us to create a structured, standardized and legally sound mechanism for aggregating and reviewing unsolicited submissions.”
