MySpace.com has big expansion plans for current year

Sources already claim that MySpace.com is very near to launch a Chinese version of their online social networking service.

The company has said that they are planning to more than double the number of countries it serves by the end of the year.

MySpace senior vice president for international operations, Travis Katz said in a statement on their plans: “In every country we’ve launched, we’ve seen incredible growth … without doing any real marketing of the site.”

They have also test launched their services in the Mexican market. They are already testing in Italy and Spain. These would soon add on to their existing markets in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, France, Germany and Japan.

Market sources further claim that a third of all traffic received by the service is from international users.
