Motorola and Ferrari launches limited edition RAZRmaxx V6 Ferrari Challenge
US based mobile phone maker Motorola has launched a special limited edition RAZRmaxx V6 mobile phone in collaboration with luxury automaker Ferrari.
Motorola said that this mobile phone RAZRmaxx V6 Ferrari Challenge is basically a 3G phone with HSDPA high-speed data download technology.
It features the famed Ferrari logo on the outer body and comes loaded with Ferrari related digital material. The company added that the phone will come with a “hand-made carry case in Ferrari-red leather”.
Motorola would be shipping this limited edition mobile phone in their world markets for a price tag of around $636.
Valerio Camardella, Director MDB Motorola S.p.A. Italy spoke about this new product: “We are very proud today to announce our partnership with Ferrari. The telephone we are presenting is a mix of style, quality and speed, all attributes which have always characterized the Ferrari name and its products. Joining forces with a market leading brand such as Ferrari was a natural move, because both our companies share a passion for research and innovation, always accompanied by elegance and design.”
Giulio Zambeletti, Director of Brand Development & Partners for Ferrari added: “It is a great satisfaction for us to be able to add this new partnership with Motorola to our portfolio. Through the realization of a mobile phone which offers personalized features in design and contents, Ferrari and Motorola continue to strengthen the relationship which began when Motorola was our sponsor on the occasion of the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy USA”.
