China launches the world’s first fourth-generation network
China is one of the fastest growing mobile markets in the world. The country however is still working on its long-delayed homegrown third-generation wireless standard.
However, they have now test launched the world’s first fourth-generation standard.
This network has been designed to support high speed data transfer and can support up to 100 megabytes per second.
However the 3G network is yet not available in the mainland china.
A government news agency reported that a group of 10 “leading domestic institutions” called the “FuTURE Project” on Sunday rolled out 4G in Shanghai.
