Apple iPod Shuffle now available in five colors
Apple Inc. has finally launched something which is available on sale right away. The company has announced that they second generation Apple iPod Shuffle is now available in five colors. These colors are: Blue, pink, green, orange and the original silver.
The player comes in 1 GB capacity with no OSD and retails for around $79 in the US market.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing spoke about this expanded availability of Apple iPod Shuffle player: “When we designed the new shuffle we entered into a new space of fashion—the idea that you can wear it in your favorite color is a great extension.”
Apple claims that the iPod shuffle’s rechargeable battery lasts for up to 12 hours at a stretch. The player supports the Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later and iTunes 7.0.2 or later, Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4), XP Home or Professional (Service Pack 2) and iTunes 7.0.2 or later, and a USB 2.0 port.
