Super Bowl related material to be made available on Apple iTunes
The National Football League has said in a statement that they would make available highlights from Sunday’s game available for purchase online the following day on Apple iTunes.
With this, the football fans will be able to download video highlights of the Super Bowl.
These downloads would be offered for download exclusively through Apple iTunes.
These downloads would be made available in English and Spanish and would cost $1.99 and will be viewable on computers or iPods.
The companies said that the 90-minute video of the NFL’s coverage of the Super Bowl will also be sold for $1.99. Brian Rolapp, the NFL’s vice president for media strategy spoke on this deal: “It’s another way for fans to relive the Super Bowl before they get to the water cooler.”
The two companies have already been providing NFL’s regular-season and playoff games on the Apple iTunes store since last year.
