Bryan Lee from Microsoft Zune team leaving the company
Software giant Microsoft has reported that Bryan Lee, a corporate vice president in Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices division is leaving the company for personal reasons.
The company denied that his leaving the company is connected to the soft sales of their Zune player which has somewhat failed to challenge the domination of Apple iPod in the market.
Microsoft however managed to capture around 10 percent of the U.S. market for hard-drive-based MP3 players in December. Apple iPod holds 85% of this market segment.
Lee was one of the individuals responsible for business development and marketing efforts for the Zune. His position would now be taken over by J Allard, another corporate vice president.
Market analysts have said that the investors have nothing to worry about as the company has enough talent quite capable of replacing Lee.
