Ericsson AB to collaborate with Turner Broadcasting System on mobile services
Swedish telecommunications equipment maker Ericsson AB has said in a statement that they are going to collaborate with US based media company Turner Broadcasting System Inc.
These two companies would now work together to develop international mobile services.
The deal would see them develop the content from Turner’s Internet, broadcast news and entertainment channels for mobile platform.
Turner would be providing the news and entertainment material while Ericsson would be providing hosting and technology to deliver the content.
The two companies said that they aim to launch the first services in the market in Europe starting this month itself. They would be bringing CNN Mobile service to users in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
