Wall Street Journal: MySpace.com might collaborate with eBay
Media group Wall Street Journal has said in a report that the News Corp. owned online social networking portal MySpace.com has been talking with retailing giant eBay for a possible collaboration.
The WSJ claimed in its report that these talks have been going on for several months now.
MySpace.com is thinking about a possibility where the users on the service would be able to buy and sell items from each other using eBay’s online-commerce technology and its PayPal payment system.
In addition, the MySpace members would also be able to post items for sale on their profiles. With this their eBay auctions would be automatically updated.
Both MySpace.com and eBay have declined to comment on these media reports.
