Wal-Mart Video Downloads Store is Internet Explorer only
Retailing giant Wal-Mart recently became the first real world retailer to launch their own movie store on the net. The company also happens to be the only one yet to offer movies from all the major movie studios in the America.
However, there is disappointing news for users of alternative operating systems as the company’s download store section is only compatible with the Microsoft’s internet explorer browser.
Users on other browsers and of course other operating systems are redirected to a page that says:
We’re sorry …
Our website requires the browser Internet Explorer version 6 or higher. It appears that you are using Firefox, Safari, or another browser that Wal-Mart Video Downloads doesn’t currently support. Click here to get Internet Explorer for free from Microsoft.Thank You
Hmm. Apparently, they are ignoring all those Mac and Linux users as well as a result.
