Samsung Ultra 5.9: World’s thinnest mobile phone
Samsung Electronics is all set to break new records as they have launched a new mobile phone product named Samsung Ultra 5.9.
The company claims that this is currently the slimmest cellphone handset in the world. This is one of the four new models Samsung showcased at the ongoing 3GSM trade show in Barcelona.
The phone is just 5.9 millimeters thick and looks similar to models existing in this range earlier. It comes loaded with an impressive3-megapixel camera and is compatible with the GSM mobile telecommunication standard.
Samsung also showcased their clamshell Ultra 9.6 and two sliders, the Ultra 10.9 and 12.6 mobile phones. All of these models come loaded with a 3 megapixel camera.
The Samsung Ultra 9.6 is a tri-band GSM model. The Samsung Ultra 10.9 is a quad-band GSM model. And the Samsung Ultra 12.9 is tri-band GSM with WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) 3G and HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access) data.
