U210: Huawei Technologies launches a 3G mobile phone
Chinese telecom major Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. has launched a new mobile phone device named U210. This is a 3G enabled phone which the company claims has been designed for music lovers.
The company said that this phone would be made available in the retail markets by next month.
Huawei also showcased a new HSUPA (high speed uplink packet access) modem which uses the USB port on the computer. They claim that it is the first product of its kind in the world.
This could become a big seller for the company as many telecom companies around the world are upgrading their 3G networks with HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access).
