Nokia launches 6110 Navigator
Finland based mobile phone maker Nokia has now launched their new navigation smartphone 6110 Navigator.
This smartphone features fast data transfer capabilities, maps and full navigation software.
The company aims to become a major player in the lucrative real-time positioning services market with this new device which was launched at the 3GSM mobile communications trade show.
Nokia expects to start shipping this phone into retail markets in the second quarter with an estimated retail price of 450 Euros. The price is however exclusive of subsidies and taxes. It does include the cost of the regional maps and full navigation software.
This device is also one of the first models in Nokia’s line-up with support for HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) technology.
