Dell announces IdeaStorm and StudioDell initiatives

PC manufacturing industry giant Dell has announced two new Web sites which are aimed at getting feedback from customers.

Dell wants their customers to share and submit ideas and feedback with other Dell users and the company as a whole.

These two projects have been named IdeaStorm and StudioDell and these were announced by the company founder Michael Dell’s presentation during a statewide education summit in Texas.

Dell said in his statement that IdeaStorm will offer up yet another new way for the company to listen to and interact with its customers.

He said: “We are at our best when we are hearing directly from our customers. We listen, learn, and then improve and innovate based on what our customers want. It’s one of the real advantages of being a direct company.”

He also announced the new companion video upload feature on StudioDell called “Your Stories” on Friday. This service would enable Dell customers to submit their own videos that demonstrate how they are using Dell products and services in whatever area they choose.
