Vinton Cerf: mobile phones would fuel the growth of the web
Google Vice President Vinton Cerf has said in a statement that he believes that mobile devices and not PCs would fuel the future growth of the web.
He further said that just around one sixth of the earth’s population has access to the internet and this has to be improved in the coming years.
In comparison the world has as many as 2.5 billion mobile users who can be enabled to access the web using their mobile devices.
The mobile phone market is continuing to outpace the personal computer market and this gives companies a huge opportunity to look into for growth on the web.
