Ford India launches Fiesta 1.4 liter petrol ZXI

Ford India has launched a new variant of their Fiesta car in the market. This latest addition is the Fiesta 1.4 liter petrol ZXI version.

This is first of the six such variants planned by the company for launch this year. Ford India Vice President, marketing, Sales and Service, Scott McCormack spoke at the launch ceremony that this particular variant is suitable for city driving.

He said: “The model, specific to Indian road conditions, has been developed after feedback from customers.”

McCormack further added: “Of the 42,000 cars sold last year, Fiesta’s share was over 17 per cent. With the introduction of the new model, the sales are likely to go up.”

This car has been priced Rs 6.30 lakh ex-showroom in Chennai.
