Verizon Communications FiOS to show Revver hosted clips
Video sharing web service Revver has said in a statement that their videos would soon be available on Verizon Communications Inc.’s television service FiOS.
The company said that some of its videos will be available on-demand directly through this service sometime later this year.
Revver added that these videos would be stored on FiOS’ system for easy accessibility.
Verizon is expected to keep a share of the revenues made from these video clips. The rest of the revenue would be split between Revver and the content generator.
Verizon is not alone to bring online videos to their television service customers. Comcast has a similar deal in place with Ziddio.com while TiVo is working with Amazon.com to make movies and shows to deliver to their customers.
