Yahoo! gains from its new Panama advertising platform

Internet Company Yahoo! is said to be gaining from the recent launch of their Panama advertising platform.

Online statistics have shown that web users are now clicking more often on the advertisements considering they are more relevant.

comScore Networks reported in a release that the click-through rate on Yahoo’s search ads increased 5 percent in the week ending Feb. 11. It improved 9 percent in the week ending Feb. 18.

These statistics are compared to the week ending Feb. 4. Yahoo! launched their new advertising platform named Panama on Feb. 5.

This new tool also comes with a campaign management tool for advertisers. The company had stated that they expected the revenues from advertising to improve with the launch of this new platform and statistics seems to support their claim.
