AT&T continues to push into Cable TV market
AT&T is again expanding their Cable TV services after pausing for a while due to technical glitches. The company claims that they have resolved the problems with key network software upgrades.
The company has now resumed their marketing of their new U-verse television service. The service expansion was earlier suspended in October last year.
AT&T is also due to announce the launch of this service in parts of Milwaukee and Racine, Wis. This would be further expanded to Dallas-Fort Worth market in early March and then Kansas City.
With this, the company would have a presence in this segment in as many as 15 markets.
AT&T’s U-verse service is delivered to the end consumer over high-speed Internet connection. This is their answer to the cable companies who have entered their telephony market by providing telecom services.
