Bell Canada now offering free calls to local Bell customers
Bell Canada is trying to take on the increasing competition in the market by launching new innovative schemes. The company has announced a new rate plan that allows customers to make free local calls to and from other Bell mobile and fixed-line phones.
This plan has been named Bell to Bell plan and it starts at a mere $10 a month. Wade Oosterman, president of Bell Mobility spoke on this plan launch: “Wireless in Canada is an intensely competitive industry and Bell Mobility is constantly striving to ensure we lead the market.”
This plan allow customers to conduct as many local calls between Bell numbers as they want at any time of day without using airtime minutes in their rate plans.
Air time is only applied calls to and from phones operated by competitors of the company which is the largest telecom company in Canada.
