Hyundai India reports 74% improvement in sales in February
India’s second largest automaker Hyundai had a fantastic month of February as the company posted a 74 per cent increase in its domestic vehicle sales.
Hyundai sold 15,459 units last month. The total sales were up at 25,026 units with 22,223 units including the cars which were exported to their global markets.
These included 22,223 units of Santro and Getz, 2,683 units of Accent and Verna, 48 units of Elantra, 45 units of Sonata and 27 units of its SUV Tucson.
The company added in a statement that their bestselling car Santro saw a growth of 118 per cent with a sale of 11,811 units in February 2007 as compared to 5,407 units in the same month last year.
