High Tech Computer to offer Yahoo Go on Windows Mobile based PDAs
High Tech Computer has announced that they are collaborating with internet giants Yahoo! HTC would now offer Windows Mobile platform based PDAs with Yahoo’s Internet software applications Yahoo! Go.
HTC is just the latest mobile instrument maker to have collaborated with Yahoo. The two companies would be offering Yahoo Go for Mobile 2.0 on these upcoming handsets.
An HTC representative added in a statement: “We don’t have any kind of agreement with Google right now, but we do provide pocket MSN and IE on our Windows Mobile handsets and we will continue to do so.”
Some other companies already offering Yahoo! internet tools are Nokia, Research In Motion, Motorola, and Samsung Electronics.
Users of other mobile handsets are also allowed to freely download Yahoo Go 2.0. It is available on more than 75 Windows Mobile devices via a link at a special section of Yahoo’s Web site.
