MySpace.com goes political with sections for US presidential candidates
Online social networking service MySpace.com would be releasing their special political sections with pages devoted to the ten US presidential candidates.
They are going to launch this Impact Channel at http://impact.myspace.com and this would provide a platform for web users to support their preferred political candidates.
It would also feature video clippings of the candidates along with other political individuals who are influential in the coming elections.
MySpace said that they would make it easier for their members to get access to virtual election banners or badges of their favored candidates. MySpace chief executive Chris DeWolfe added: “As the country’s most trafficked Website, MySpace will play a powerful role in the upcoming election. Our digital candidate banners will be the yard signs of the 21st Century and our political viral videos and vlogs (video logs) are the campaign ads of the future.”
