Asustek to launch M530w and P526 smartphones with Windows Mobile 6

Taiwan based electronic gadget maker Asustek has confirmed that they would soon be launching two new smartphones which would be powered by the recently unveiled Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 platform.

The company said that these two models are M530w and P526. M530w would feature a full QWERTY keyboard while the P526 would come with a built-in GPS (global positioning system).

Asustek is showcasing both these devices at the ongoing Cebit trade show in Hanover, Germany. They are aiming to launch them in June this year.

Windows Mobile 6 platform was launched by Microsoft in February and it comes loaded with a revamped interface resembling the Windows Vista operating system. It also features tighter integration with Microsoft’s Exchange Server 2007.
