South Korean tech giant Samsung showcased their upcoming digital photo frame devices at the Cebit trade show in Hanover, Germany.
These two upcoming products are SPH-72P and SPH-72H. They displayed their 12-inch and 8-inch versions of these digital photo frames in addition to a 7-inch version.
Samsung’s SPH-72P would be launched in the European markets in May this year and would cost around US$305. It is capable of using Wi-Fi to automatically discover and connect with PCs running Vista operating system to display photos stored in Windows Media Player 11.
The other model is the Samsung SPH-72H which lacks the Wi-Fi functionality. It would be launched along with the above mentioned model in the European markets. Both of these devices are also capable of playing MP3 and movie files.
SPH-72P is also capable of displaying image files loaded through a RSS feed. The company also has plans to ship the 8-inch and 12-inch versions later this year.
